Job Summary
We are seeking highly experienced and distinguished flight attendants to take on the role of Purser/Cabin Manager. In this senior leadership position, you will oversee the entire cabin operation on wide-body international and transcontinental flights. You are responsible for setting the tone for the flight, ensuring flawless execution of safety protocols, and managing the delivery of our award-winning Delta One service. You will act as a mentor, a manager, and the ultimate authority in the cabin, making critical decisions in real-time to ensure operational success.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Crew Management & Briefings: Conduct comprehensive pre-flight briefings with the cabin crew and pilots. Assign working positions, review safety procedures, and establish clear service expectations for the flight.
- Safety Command: Serve as the primary liaison between the Captain and the cabin crew. In the event of an emergency, you will direct the cabin crew response, coordinate communications, and manage passenger safety with authoritative leadership.
- Service Excellence Oversight: Supervise the execution of premium cabin services. Ensure catering is accurate, presentation standards are impeccable, and high-value Medallion members receive individualized recognition and care.
- Conflict & Crisis Resolution: Handle complex onboard situations, including severe medical emergencies, security disturbances, and service recovery efforts, utilizing advanced de-escalation and leadership techniques.
- Mentorship & Reporting: Provide on-the-spot coaching and feedback to junior flight attendants. Complete detailed post-flight reports regarding catering anomalies, crew performance, and maintenance issues.
