• Ticketing & Lobby Navigation: Welcome guests as they enter the terminal. Utilize advanced airline reservation software to swiftly process check-ins, issue boarding passes, collect ancillary baggage fees, and verify complex international travel documents.
• Gate Dispatch & Boarding: Take command of the boarding gate. Make clear, authoritative public address announcements, manage the flow of passenger boarding groups, and seamlessly operate the jet bridge to connect the terminal to the aircraft.
• Irregular Operations (IROP) Management: Act as the primary problem-solver during weather delays or cancellations. Rebook distressed passengers with empathy, distribute meal or hotel vouchers, and maintain a calm, reassuring presence in a high-stress environment.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce all strict FAA and TSA security regulations. Audit carry-on baggage sizes, ensure cabin weight limits are respected, and meticulously verify passenger identities before flight departure.
