About Hawaiian Airlines
At Hawaiian Airlines, we don't just fly passengers; we welcome them into our home. We are the premier carrier of the Pacific, rooted in the values of "Mea Ho'okipa" (I am host). When you accept one of our flight attendant jobs, you become a cultural ambassador, tasked with bringing the warmth, grace, and rich heritage of the islands to every traveler before they even touch the ground. If you seek aviation jobs defined by authentic hospitality and wide-body international flying, this is your calling.
Job Summary
As an In-Flight Hospitality Ambassador, you will operate on our fleet of Airbus A330 and Boeing 787 wide-body aircraft, flying long-haul routes across the Pacific, the US Mainland, and Asia. You will provide a premium, culturally immersive service experience. This role requires immense grace, deep respect for diverse cultures, and the rigorous safety discipline required for extended over-water operations (ETOPS).
Key Responsibilities
- Mea Ho'okipa Service: Deliver our signature island-inspired meal and beverage services. Introduce passengers to local flavors and provide an atmosphere of genuine island hospitality.
- Over-Water Safety Command: Master ETOPS (Extended-range Twin-engine Operations Performance Standards) safety protocols. You must be expertly trained in the deployment of life rafts, ditching procedures, and oceanic survival tactics.
- Cultural Ambassadorship: Treat every passenger as an honored guest. Resolve long-haul travel fatigue with empathy, proactively offering comfort amenities and assistance.
- Premium Cabin Excellence: Execute multi-course, fine-dining services in our First Class cabins, requiring a sophisticated understanding of culinary presentation and wine pairings.
Benefits & Lifestyle
- Global Pacific Network: Enjoy layovers in premier destinations across Japan, South Korea, Australia, and the US Mainland.
- Travel the Islands: Incredible inter-island and global standby travel benefits.
- Comprehensive Rewards: Highly competitive compensation, union-backed stability, and excellent healthcare benefits.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years of age with a High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a rigorous over-water safety and ditching training program (includes swimming and raft boarding assessments).
- A profound understanding of, or willingness to learn and embody, island culture and hospitality standards.
